Ecology and empowerment
How to improve your ecological actions? And how to strengthen the empowerment of, and the “doing together”, with the populations who are the most affected by ecological crises. Contributors from six different countries bring some pieces of answers.
How, and, why should ecology and empowerment be linked when it comes to issues of solidarity in general, and international solidarity in particular?
‘Ecology and empowerment’ aims to explore this issue for the F3E network.
By giving the floor to contributors from six different countries, the F3E has sought to show a diversity of approaches, which all have one thing in common: the link between ecological issues and social justice.
For almost a year, the authors of the nine articles in the book exchanged their points of view. Then, they started writing. The product of these exchanges is now in your hands. Feedback and comments, enriching the articles, were kept to show the links between the different positions.
In November 2023, a full day was dedicated to the presentation of these articles. The book concludes with recommendations drawn up by the participants of this special day, enriched by the views of the contributors.
